Woman convicted in Prince Albert manslaughter case, appeals sentence
A woman who stabbed and killed a man at a Prince Albert apartment complex, is appealing the eight-year prison sentence she received for manslaughter.
Alisha Sky Ross’s hearing is scheduled for Sept. 10 at the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal in Regina.
Ross was convicted last February, and the case dates back to the morning of March 24, 2025.
According to the agreed statement of facts, a social gathering had taken place at the apartment the night prior. Ross, Brett Charles and several other people were drinking and consuming drugs.
