Man wanted for first-degree murder in Newfoundland arrested in Prince Albert  

A Quebec man wanted for the first-degree murder of another man in Newfoundland and Labrador was arrested by the Saskatchewan Marshal Service at a business in Prince Albert. 

The Marshals said that David Faucher, age 30, was wanted for the killing of Franz Drosch, age 43, in Happy Valley –  Goose Bay, Newfoundland in 2023.  

A news release issued by the RCMP on June 5 and August 11 led to information that allowed Faucher to be located at a business in Prince Albert, where he was arrested.
