Raiders move Chenier to Lethbridge

With the WHL trade deadline looming on this Thursday, and a number of other teams being active already, the Prince Albert Raiders have entered the mix with a trade. The Raiders have moved 18-year-old Oli Chenier to the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for a fourth round pick in the upcoming 2026 draft.

Chenier was in the midst of his third season with the Raiders – fourth if you count the one game he played as a 15-year-old in 2022-23. In 146 games as a Raider, Chenier posted 17G-31A-48P.

This season, Chenier spent most of his ice time as a part of the third and fourth lines, along with a little time on the powerplay, but had still managed to produce 3G-10A-13P in 30 games – the same total he posted in 56 games the year prior.

Chenier was drafted 60th overall by the Raiders in the third round of the 2022 WHL draft.
