Liberal Party – Buckley Belanger

Harold ‘Buckley’ Belanger was the Member of Legislative Assembly in Saskatchewan for the Athabasca constituency from 1995 until resigning in 2021. He spent his first term as part of the provincial Liberals until he switched to the New Democrats in 1998, where he held that seat through a total of eight provincial elections. In 2021, Belanger gave up his seat in Saskatchewan to join the Federal Liberals as their representative in the 2021 election. Belanger has also served as the mayor of Ile-a-la-Crosse and as a journalist for MBC Radio.
