From the first day of January, Prince Albert Raiders rookie sensation Daxon Rudolph started to put together a point streak that almost until the end of the month. The month saw the Raiders play a total of 13 games, and Rudolph managed a point in the first 12 along with setting up a few plays that lead to goals in that 13th game.

In total, the Raiders first overall pick from 2023 put together a 12 game streak with 2G-13A in 12 games, which also included a seven game assist streak with 10 assists in the middle of the overall point streak.

The 12 game point streak is the longest among rookies so far this season in the WHL, just edging out Kamloops Blazers right winger Tommy Lafrieniere’s 11 game streak through November and December.

The improvement of the young Raiders defenceman this season has been noticeable. After opening the season with a goal and an assist in his first two games, Rudolph put up 1G-6A in his first 21 games including a scoreless streak of nine games. In the second half of the season, Rudolph has not went more than one game without a point, managing 3G-16A.
