Gun, ammo and knives found during traffic stop in Prince Albert
A weekend traffic stop in Prince Albert resulted in the seizure of a number of weapons, as well as the arrest of a woman wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Late Saturday night, at approximately 11:30 p.m., and while on regular patrol in the area of 15 St. W. and First Ave. W., police officers observed a vehicle driving in an unsafe manner.
A traffic stop was conducted, and officers observed a knife on the driver side floor of the vehicle. At this point, all three occupants of the vehicle were arrested for a weapons investigation.
Upon further investigation, officers also located a sawed-off shotgun, two rounds of ammunition, and another knife on the front passenger side of the vehicle.
