Prince Albert robbery case proceeds to trial
Almost 11 months after a robbery incident at a Prince Albert shopping centre, not guilty pleas have been entered in the case.
Cashton Bear-Paquette appeared by phone from B.C., when his matter was discussed Thursday afternoon at Prince Albert Provincial Court. Daniel English was represented in court by his legal aid lawyer.
The case dates back to Feb. 21, 2024, when four people were seen demanding items from two other people in a parking lot of Carlton Court Plaza.
When police arrived and moved to apprehend one of the suspects, the other three fled on foot.
