PAPS seize cocaine, fentanyl; two charged

Two people are facing charges following a drug trafficking investigation by the Prince Albert Police Service’s Crime Reduction Team (CRT).

On Aug. 22, officers executed a search warrant a home located on Berezowsky Drive in the East Flat area of Prince Albert. Police were able to seize 112.1 grams of cocaine, two grams of suspected fentanyl, $1,860 cash, 41 rounds of 9mm ammunition and assorted drug trafficking paraphernalia.

Laura Larson, 47, and Bradley Mercredi, 31, both of Prince Albert, have been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime under $5000.

Both made their first court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court Friday morning.
