P.A. police arrest five, looking for four women after serious assault

Prince Albert Police are charging nine people for allegedly assaulting a 21-year-old woman.

On Jan. 8, 2024, officers were called out to Highway 2 and Highway 55. When they arrived, they found a woman suffering from severe injuries. She was transported to the Victoria Hospital, but police didn’t give an update on her current condition.

The police have since arrested five people, 24-year-old Joshua Goodvoice, 30-year-old Ryan Morrison, 29-year-old Shyanne Bear, 25-year-old Jordanna Napope, and 33-year-old Amanda Venne. Goodvoice was on probation before the arrest.

They’ve since been charged with aggravated assault, forcible confinement, assault causing bodily harm, robbery, and uttering threats.

Police have also charged 36-year-old Chelsea Kakakaway, 26-year-old Abby Abraham, 34-year-old Roberta Smith, and 18-year-old Shyanna Michel, but at this time police are still looking for them.
