Chase Coward was a brick wall in goal for the Prince Albert Raiders on Saturday.

The 2003-born netminder turned aside 45 shots against the Moose Jaw Warriors to help P.A. capture the 6-3 win on the road at the Moose Jaw Events Centre.

The win is the fourth-in-a-row for the Raiders, as well as their second in as many nights following the 7-2 triumph over Calgary on Friday.

Sloan Stanick led the scoresheet for the Green and Gold, scoring a goal and two assists while Aiden Oiring and Ryder Ritchie both had a goal and an assist. Brayden Dube, Cole Peardon, and Niall Crocker also found the back of the net while Justice Christensen had a pair of assists and Luke Moroz, Matej Kubiesa, and Hayden Pakkala each had one.

For the Warriors, Harper Lolacher, Atley Calvert, and Lynden Lakovic all scored while Brayden Yager, Denton Mateychuk, Brayden Schuurman, and Ethan Semeniuk each got the assists.

In goal for Moose Jaw was Dimitri Fortin who made 32 saves on the night as the Warriors fall to 6-4-0-0 on the year.

The Raiders on the other hand improve to 6-3-0-0 on the campaign.

COMPLETE BOX SCORE

The Raiders broke the ice early on in the opening period thanks to one of their veterans. Oiring sprung Stanick on a breakaway where he completely fooled Fortin with a fake shot before backhanding the puck uncontested into the net.

A few minutes later, a long shot from Ritchie was stopped and then fumbled by the Warriors netminder where Oiring was in the right place at the right time to put the puck into the back of the net, making it 2-0 Raiders going into the second.

Prince Albert continued on the gas with Dube lighting the lamp early on in the frame before Moose Jaw began to turn the tables.

Lolacher managed to get the monkey off his back, while Calvert converted to cut into the Raiders lead as it was 3-2 after two.

The Warriors would complete the comeback midway through the third courtesy of Lakovic, however, the game wasn’t tied for long as the Raiders added a pair. Ritchie and Peardon scored just minutes apart to reestablish the P.A. lead.

Crocker would go on to add an empty net goal for the Raiders to help Prince Albert extend their win streak to four. The Raiders will wrap up this three-in-three weekend at home on Sunday when they host the Saskatoon Blades at 6:00 p.m.
