Raiders acquire veteran defencemen Hoffrogge from Oil Kings

The Prince Albert Raiders have filled their final overage spot on their roster for the 2023-24 season.

On Saturday, it was announced that the Raiders have acquired 2003-born defenceman Jacob Hoffrogge from the Edmonton Oil Kings in exchange for a conditional sixth-round pick in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft.

Hoffrogge, a Saskatoon product, has 121 WHL games under his belt with three different teams, including Brandon, Everett, and Edmonton. The blueliner also has 26 career points, including two goals and 24 assists.

The Raiders are in Edmonton tonight to wrap up a two-game Alberta road swing. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
