PA police arrest and charge man on bike with trafficking fentanyl

A 49-year-old man from Prince Albert is behind bars after he was arrested while riding his bicycle on the 2800 block of 6^th Avenue East on Thursday.

Darryl Edward Mans Lakner is charged with multiple drug trafficking and gun-related charges.

Following Lakner’s arrest, officers with the Prince Albert Police found over 110 grams of fentanyl, almost 15 grams of methamphetamine, 10 grams of cocaine and a loaded .38 calibre handgun.

Officers said he also had over $6,000 in cash and paraphernalia associated with drug trafficking.

Lakner made his first court appearance on Sept. 1 in Provincial Court and will be back on Sept. 11 for a bail hearing.
