Youth charged after tire slashing spree
Prince Albert police have confirmed two youths have been charged in connection to a rash of vandalisms in the city’s east flat area.
Sometime between the night of June 26 and the early morning hours of June 27, a number of vehicles had their tires slashed. Multiple tires were slashed on the same vehicle on more than one occasion. And in cases where doors were left unlocked, the vehicles were rummaged through.
“Our Proactive Policing Unit investigated damage to the tires of 10 vehicles last week and have charged two youths, for mischief to property,” a statement from police confirmed.
Residents who live in the area have previously shared with paNOW that as many as 20 vehicles may have been targeted.
