Foxes trump Aces, advance to North final

The Prince Albert U15 Beachcomber Foxes (2) have punched their ticket to the Saskatchewan Female Hockey League’s North final.

Sunday’s 2-0 win over the Northeast Aces, wrapped up the Northeast Division Consolation Playoff.

Scoring for the Foxes were Jenna Riddell (second period) and Brooke Mihlewicz (third period).

Addison Laprise faced 26 shots and with the win, secured her first playoff shutout.

Up next for the Foxes are the Northwest Hawks and game one is Tuesday night in Paradise Hill at 7 p.m.
