Christmas Day fire consumes Driftwood trailer

A man and his dog have been left homeless, following a fire Christmas night in the Driftwood trailer court.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., the Prince Albert Fire Department responded to the trailer park in the R.M. of Prince Albert.

When crews arrived, the mobile home was engulfed in flames. Firefighters initiated a defensive exterior attack and extinguished the fire, however the home was severely damaged.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. There were no injuries.

Local residents told paNOW the man who lived there, was not home at the time.
