Accused house thief released from custody
The man accused of stealing a house in Crooked River earlier this year has been given a second shot at staying free until his case is resolved.
Matt Malley will be released from custody following a show cause hearing in Melfort Provincial Court this morning.
Malley, 32, had a bench warrant out for his arrest in October after failing to appear for one of his scheduled court hearings.
A show cause hearing allows an accused who is being held on remand a chance to convince a judge that they are safe to release and will make future court appearances as scheduled.
