Mintos split weekend slate with Pat Canadians

PRINCE ALBERT, SK – The Prince Albert Mintos split their set with the Regina Pat Canadians this weekend, winning 6-5 on Saturday then falling 4-1 on Sunday.

Abinet Klassen led the Mintos on the scoresheet this past weekend, netting himself a goal and two assists across the two games. Ashton Tait and Logan Beebe had two points each while Scott McLean, Will Whitter, Simon Garchinski, Owen Nelson, Roper Blanchard, Logan Pickford, and Konnor Watson all tallied one point.

For Regina, Ryan Zaremba was the leading scorer where he potted four points. Koen Senft, Kolten Bridgeman, and Raiders prospect Luke Moroz each had three points while Casey Brown, Noel Englot, Nolan Stevenson, and Ryan McDonald also had multi-point weekends.

Jayden Kraus made 53 saves for the green and gold across the two games.

The Mintos sit with a 8-8-0-1 record on the campaign.

John Macpherson and Taylor Tabashniuk combined for 36 saves.

The Pat Canadians now have a record of 15-4-0-1 this season.
