Anti-Graffiti Paint Program returns to Prince Albert
The City of Prince Albert has announced the return of the Anti-Graffiti Paint Program, which encourages residents to help reduce graffiti vandalism.
The city recommends if the public sees ongoing vandalism to report, record, or remove it.
However, only homeowners, business owners and privately owned buildings can apply to the program to receive their free paint kit. This consists of one gallon of paint, one tray, one brush and roller, and gloves to paint over the graffiti on their property. These paint kits are only available as long as the temperatures stay above 0 Celsius.
“A reminder to all renters of property, that the owner of the property must be the one to apply for the program, and when possible, we ask that owners bring something to show proof of property ownership like a tax receipt,” as stated in the release.
