The Green and White officially will be bluenosers at one point during the 2022 CFL season.

The league confirmed Tuesday the Saskatchewan Roughriders are to face the Toronto Argonauts in a regular-season game July 16 in Wolfville, N.S.

“On behalf of the Steering Committee, we are thrilled to welcome the CFL to Nova Scotia this July,” Bruce Bowser, chair of the CFL’s Touchdown Atlantic Steering Committee, said in a statement.

“The excitement and enthusiasm for Touchdown Atlantic here in the Maritimes just goes to show that Canadian football has a home in Atlantic Canada.”

It’ll be the first time Nova Scotia has been the site of a regular-season CFL game. A pre-season contest was played in Halifax in 2005.

The last Touchdown Atlantic event was held in 2019, when the Montreal Alouettes defeated Toronto 28-22 in a regular-season contest in Moncton, N.B.

The 3,000-seat stadium at Acadia University is to be expanded to 10,000 seats for the Roughriders-Argos clash.
