New COVID-19 cases back over 1,000-mark, five more hospitalizations, no new deaths
After a one-day absence, recorded COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan are back over the 1,000-case mark.
In Sunday’s provincial update, there are 1,099 new COVID-19 cases in the province; 30 in the North East, 25 in North Central, 11 in North West, seven in Far North West and two in Far North East.
The province reported 1,173 new cases on Friday, the first time the province had cases over 1,000 reported in a single day. Saturday’s update was 937.
Hospitalizations in the province increased by five to 119, marking an increase of 14 in the past two days.
