The Prince Albert Northern Bears are starting to score in big numbers, and that showed in a split in Swift Current against the Wildcats.

Despite getting outshot 45-16, the Bears managed to beat the Wildcats 4-2 on Saturday’s game. Paige Fischer sure earned her first SFU18AAAHL career win, making 43 saves on 45 shots. Claudia Lammers, Sasha Malenfant, Julia Cey and Calla Kampen all scored for the Bears.

The Bears also scored four goals on Sunday, but they also gave up double that in an 8-4 defeat. The Wildcats scored six of their goals in the second period to blow up the game. Malenfant also scored on Sunday, while Kassie Ferster, Sophia Zuck, and captain Paige Dawson also scored.

The Bears will return to the Art Hauser Centre on Saturday to take on the Weyburn Gold Wings.
