SHA warns of COVID exposure at local restaurant

Sep 13, 2021 | 4:02 PM

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is warning of increased exposure of COVID-19 at a Prince Albert restaurant.

The SHA said a person or persons infected with COVID were at Smitty’s restaurant on Second Ave W on Aug. 30 and 31 as well as Sept. 1 to 3 and Sept. 5 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Anyone at the restaurant during these dates and times is asked to seek testing and immediately self-isolate for 14 days after the last exposure.

However, if you’ve received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and the second dose was received 14 days before exposure you don’t need to isolate but are asked to monitor for symptoms.
