Cocaine and cash found inside car involved in crash
Prince Albert Police have charged two people following a motor vehicle accident in the city late Wednesday afternoon that resulted in the seizure of a large amount of cocaine and cash.
A 22-year-old man from Prince Albert and a 22-year-old woman from La Ronge are both facing charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of the proceeds of crime, and failure to stop at the scene of an accident.
Around 4:30 p.m., police and fire departments were dispatched to the intersection near 24th St. and fourth Ave. W.
Two vehicles were reported to have collided and the force of the impact caused one of the vehicles, a truck, to be flipped onto its roof. The driver of that vehicle was fortunately not hurt.
