Mar 29, 2021 | 9:36 PM

Public Health officials have notified the Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division about an individual(s) testing positive for COVID-19 at Carton Comprehensive Public High School.

In a media release Monday evening the school division said a small number of students and the associated staff will be isolating until April 8 and 9, respectively.

There is no evidence that the case(s) was/were acquired or transmitted at school and in-person learning will safely continue for the rest of the school.

The school division was informed of positive COVID-19 test results and communication is being shared with the classrooms/cohorts, the connected staff, as well as with the school community.

The learning program will continue remotely only for those students and staff affected while in-person learning will continue for the rest of the school.

Privacy concerns prevent sharing of further details of the case.
