Positive case of COVID-19 identified at Carlton Comprehensive High School
The Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division is alerting the public of a positive COVID-19 case at Carlton Comprehensive Public High School in P.A.
According to a media release, the Saskatchewan Health Authority has identified the case and the school division was made aware this evening. The cohorts and staff involved with the individual have been made aware by the school. The division has also been in contact with the rest of the school community.
“The Health Authority will continue to assess the case as they provide contact tracing and communication to all close contacts,” as stated in the release. “The students and staff impacted by this case are required to isolate until the end of the day on Nov. 17, 2020 and the learning program will continue remotely for those students affected. Privacy concerns prevent sharing of further details of the case.”
The high school will stay open for all students and in-person classes will continue for those who do not need to be in isolation. The school has COVID-19 measures and protocols to keep students and staff safe and they remain vigilant to make sure the safety precautions continue to be in place.
