A man accused of murdering his three-year-old half sister remains in custody and will have to wait a while before his case returns to court.

Fabian Morin, 21, is facing a charge of second degree murder in the death last April of Emily McCallum-Daniels.

The dates for Morin’s preliminary hearing were set Friday at Prince Albert Provincial Court. The hearing which will be used to assess the Crown’s case against Morin has been scheduled to run from Nov. 9 to 13, and also from Nov. 16 to 20.

On the night of April 8, McCallum-Daniel was unresponsive when police arrived at a west flat residence. She was immediately rushed to hospital in Saskatoon and pronounced deceased the following afternoon.
