Raiders land Paddock ahead of trade deadline
The Prince Albert Raiders have shored up their goaltending position with the acquisition of former Memorial Cup all-star Max Paddock from the Regina Pats.
In exchange, the Raiders have sent 2002-born forward Jakob Brook, a 2020 2nd round pick, and a conditional 2021 3rd round pick back to Regina.
“Well we’re really excited. Max has big-game experience with the [2018] Memorial Cup, and his play actually gave them a chance to win that cup,” Raiders General Manager Curtis Hunt said.
“He’s been a consistent performer over the last two years in terms of his numbers, and we feel that he can be a stabilizing influence back there for us.”
