Titans finish off a great month with another win; Bears fall to Rebels

The Prince Albert Titans had a heck of a month of November.

They earned 15 of a possible 16 points and had a 7-0-1 record in the month. The Titans capped it off with a 5-4 shootout victory over the West Central Rage on Saturday in Kerrobert.

They held a 4-2 lead early in the third period when Jakob Tournier scored, but the Rage were able to tie it up with a pair of goals, including Avery Cholin’s equalizer with 6:03 left in regulation.

Tanner Hendriks and Braeden Mishak both scored in the shootout to give the Titans the victory. Mishak also had a goal and an assist in regulation.

The Titans now have an 8-9-3 record on the season and are tied for third in the Bob Dybvig Division in the Prairie Junior Hockey League.

They’ll finish out the weekend on Sunday when the have a rematch against the Rage.

Bears fall in Regina

In Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA Hockey League action, the Prince Albert Northern Bears lost their third straight game when the fell 4-1 to the Regina Rebels on Saturday on the road.

Kailey Ledoux scored the lone goal for the Bears, on the power play, to begin the second period and tied it up at 1-1 at that point. But with two goals from Lauren Focht and another from Neena Brick, the Rebels were able to come away with the win.

The Bears and Rebels will have a rematch at 1 p.m. in Regina.
