Mintos have highest scoring night in over two years

The Prince Albert Mintos got to double digits on Saturday for their highest scoring night in the last two and a half years.

They beat the Notre Dame Hounds 10-2. To find the last time the Mintos scored 10 goals, you have to go all the way back to Feb. 12, 2017 when the Mintos oddly enough defeated the Hounds 10-3.

Just about every Minto got on the scoresheet on Saturday, but two Mintos in particular put up huge nights.

Dawson Springer scored a whopping four goals in the victory. Cooper Chisholm scored a pair and got three assists.

The Mintos quickly jumped out to a 6-0 lead after the opening 20 minutes of play.
