Raiders trade reunites Pachal with lifelong friend
The trade the Prince Albert Raiders made on Monday completed a best friend reunion.
Estevan’s Brayden Pachal, who came over from the Victoria Royals along with a sixth round pick in exchange for Prince Albert’s Loch Morrison and a fourth rounder, is reunited with Estevan’s Cole Fonstad.
“Cole’s one of my best friends. It’s going to be a cool experience playing junior hockey with him,” Pachal said. “He’s a 16-year-old but I think he plays a big role on this team. It’s been good to be introduced to the guys.
Although they are a year apart as Pachal is 1999-born and Fonstad is 2000, both still managed to play on the same teams.
