Canadian Walk for Veterans

This Saturday, the 2026 Canadian Walk For Veterans with River Valley Resilience Retreat takes place right here in Prince Albert.

We’ll be at Kinsmen Park from around 11 AM tomorrow! Registration starts at 12 PM.

A few people might wonder: why walk when I’ve never worn a uniform myself? The answer is simple. Every comfort, peace of mind, and freedom we enjoy in our daily lives exists because of the brave men and women who have stepped forward to serve, and those who continue to put on the uniform today.

Walking alongside our community is just a small way to say thank you, show respect, and ensure our veterans and active service members know their sacrifices are never forgotten.
