Pedestrian killed following collision with vehicle near MacDowall

A 34-year-old man is dead after being struck by a vehicle south of Prince Albert yesterday morning. 

Prince Albert RCMP were called to a reported injured person along Highway #11 near MacDowall on July 30 at about 1:40 am. The man was declared deceased by EMS at the scene.  

He was a resident of Prince Albert and his family has been notified.  

Initial investigation showed the man was involved in a pedestrian-vehicle collision. The driver of the vehicle did not remain at the scene.  

Local RCMP are continuing their investigation with the help of the RCMP collision reconstructionist.
