Prince Albert shooting incident results in three year prison sentence
A shooting incident outside a Prince Albert apartment building where the victim was left paralyzed, has resulted in a prison sentence amounting to three years and five months.
With remand credit, 29-year-old Albert Morrison has just over 720 days left to serve.
Guilty pleas were entered to possessing a firearm while prohibited; careless storage of a firearm; and criminal negligence causing bodily harm.
On the morning of Nov. 17, 2024, members of the city’s police service were called to the Woodsmere apartment building on 32nd St. W. for a report of a gunshot and injured victim.
