ExploreSask photo contest opens for entries

Photographers in Saskatchewan have another chance to show their talent plus win some cash and some bragging rights.  

Tourism Saskatchewan is now accepting entries for its 2026 ExploreSask Photo Contest, with submissions open until Sept. 15. 

The contest is open to amateur and professional photographers and videographers and includes six categories: People & Places, Prairie, Wildlife, Winter, Woods & Water and Video.

Winners in each photography category will receive a $500 Visa gift card. A grand-prize winner, chosen from those five category winners, will receive an additional $500. The video category winner will receive a $1,000 Visa gift card.

Tourism Saskatchewan said the annual contest is intended to highlight the province’s landscapes, wildlife, communities and outdoor experiences. Entry rules and submission details are available on the agency’s website.
