Gosling, O’Brien, Winn named finalists for PWHL rookie of the year award

TORONTO — Montréal Victoire defender Nicole Gosling, New York Sirens forward Casey O’Brien and Boston Fleet defender Haley Winn are the finalists for the 2026 Professional Women’s Hockey League rookie of the year award.

Gosling led rookie defenders with a plus-16 rating and set a rookie record for power-play points by a blueliner with eight.

O’Brien led all rookies with 22 points in 28 games and set a PWHL rookie record for faceoff wins with 266.

Winn scored five goals — a record for a rookie defender — and paced all PWHL skaters with 802 minutes 42 seconds of ice time.
