Buckland shooting case comes to end after witnesses no show trial

A man alleged responsible for a shooting incident in the Rural Municipality of Buckland, walked out of Prince Albert Provincial Court a free man.

Curtis Caron’s scheduled trial on Thursday did not proceed and all his charges were stayed by the Crown.

That’s due to the fact none of the witnesses showed up to testify.

Caron was supported in the courtroom by two family members who appeared visibly relieved by the decision.
