Cleat-wearing doc from P.A. scores in Australia competition
One Prince Albert doctor who has a love of football (aka soccer) helped Team Canada get on the scoreboard during a recent competition in Australia.
Dr. Nnamdi Ndubuka, is the medical health officer for the Northern Inter-Tribal Health Authority and took time to indulge his love of the sport while also being part of a symposium on health and sport in Australia.
He told paNOW in February after he was selected to be part of the team that children growing up in Nigeria play football from a very young age.
The Canadians played six games in the over-45 Vogel division, taking on Australia, Ireland, Catalonia and Mexico, with a 4-1-1 record.
