James Smith man deceased in rollover near Weldon

A 21-year-old man from James Smith Cree Nation is dead following a single vehicle rollover on the Coxby Road north of Weldon yesterday.

The deceased man, who was not named by RCMP, was a passenger in the vehicle that rolled on the gravel road shortly before 8 a.m.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to Saskatoon hospital by STARS Air Ambulance and the two passengers were taken to hospital in Prince Albert.

Their injuries are described as non-life threatening.

Prince Albert RCMP said the investigation will continue with the help of a collision reconstructionist.
