Sask Rivers MLA removed from Leg. for unparliamentary language
Sask. Rivers MLA Nadine Wilson was removed from today’s Question Period in the legislature after asking if the government is “just plain ignorant or are they straight up gas lighting and lying to the public about their agenda?”
Wilson was asked to apologize for the language choice and refused and then left.
She had first asked about the current government’s plan for oil and gas and accused them of wanting to shut down coal as well as part of the plan to reach a net of zero green-house gas emissions by 2050.
As Minister of Crown Investments, Dustin Duncan said that the province needs to use different sources of energy ranging from fossil fuels to nuclear energy.
