The Prince Albert Raiders (21-23-1-3) are making their final trip to Moose Jaw this season as they are set to face off with the Warriors (28-16-0-2) for the final time this season.
The Raiders enter the contest on the heels of a thrilling 4-3 shootout win over Red Deer on Wednesday, which snapped the Rebels’ nine-game winning streak. The win helped P.A. improve to 2-3 in their last five games and 3-5-2 in their last 10. The other wins came against Saskatoon on Jan. 26 and Victoria on Jan. 12.
Meanwhile, the Warriors come into the night with a 5-3 loss in their last match against Medicine Hat. The loss snapped a six-game win streak for Moose Jaw, who are now 8-2 in their last 10 games with the only other loss over that stretch coming against Swift Current back on Jan. 6. Since the acquisition of Matthew Savoie, the Warriors boast a record of 9-2.
In terms of the season series between P.A. and M.J., the Warriors have already won the series with a 5-2 record over the Raiders coming into the contest. The lone Prince Albert victories over Moose Jaw this season came during their first two meetings when the Raiders triumphed 4-0 at home on Sept. 22 and 6-3 in Moose Jaw on Oct. 14.
