One man in hospital after alleged shooting in Nipawin

A man is in hospital with serious injuries after an apparent shooting in Nipawin on Christmas Eve.

RCMP said that around 3:43 that afternoon, they received a report of a man suffering from a gunshot wound on 1^st Ave. West in the town.

When officers arrived, they found the man who was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

No other details have been released as Nipawin RCMP are still investigating what happened along with help from the Prince Albert and Saskatoon General Investigation Sections.
