The offence for the Prince Albert Raiders came to life in a big way Friday evening in Red Deer as the Raiders scored four goals in the second period on their way to a dominating 6-2 win over the Rebels at Peavey Mart Centrium.

Import forward Krzysztof Macias led the way with three goals, Ryder Ritchie potted two, and Niall Crocker was the set up man with four assists on the night.

The Raiders chased Rebels starting goaltender Chase Wutzke from the net after he gave up four goals on just 13 shots.

The win improves Prince Albert’s record to .500 at 3-3 while the Rebels fall to 1-3. It was the Raider’s first road win of the season, while Red Deer is now 0-3 at home to start the year.

The Raiders also scored three powerplay goals in the win.

The green and gold will now head north up the highway to Edmonton to take on the Oil Kings on Saturday night.
