Three suspects at large after armed robbery on Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation

RCMP are on the lookout for three people allegedly involved in an armed robbery on Ahtahkakopp Cree Nation.

Police said they received a report of the robbery of a 2013 Toyota Venza on Monday night around 6:33 p.m.

When police arrived, they found the victim who was not physically injured and determined that a woman and two men were involved in the incident.

A warrant has now been issued for the arrest of Danah Bird, 25, of Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation. She is facing charges of robbery with a firearm and operating a vehicle while prohibited.

Investigators are still trying to get clear descriptions of the two men involved but say one had long frizzy hair while the other is bald.

The Toyota Venza has not been recovered but Big River RCMP discovered the vehicle and the suspects were seen at a gas station in Shellbrook Monday night before travelling on Highway 3 east toward Prince Albert.

RCMP are asking anyone who may have spotted the Venza (SK license plate 745 MLS) or the suspects to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
