An Alberta man celebrated a massive win of almost $1.5 million last week.

J.G. Lundy from Medicine Hat hit big on the Smoke Signals jackpot last Thursday night, winning a total of $1,446,001.42.

Smoke Signals is the top tier progressive jackpot at SIGAs Living Sky Casino in Swift Current.

“We are excited for our newest SIGA Casinos Smoke Signals winner,” said SIGA President and CEO Zane Hansen.

“It is always great to see a Smoke Signals win in southern Saskatchewan,” added SIGA Regional General Trevor Marion.

To date, SIGA’s Smoke Signals progressive has paid out over $58 million in jackpot wins. It has now been reset to $1 million, and will pay out before it hits $2 million.

Smoke Signals is a SIGA-wide progressive jackpot that links 51 slot machines at all seven SIGA casinos.

Each time a patron plays a Smoke Signals slot machine, any of the jackpots could be triggered.

· Gold Eagle Casino (Mosquito First Nation) in North Battleford

· Gold Horse Casino (Little Pine First Nation) in Lloydminster
