Police respond to weapons complaint in West Flat

Prince Albert police confirming there was a brief lockdown at Queen Mary school Thursday morning, in response to a weapons complaint in the area.

Members with the Prince Albert Police Service remain in the area of the 1000 Block of 15^th St. W.

This morning, two police vehicles were parked at the front of the school while another drove the neighbourhood.

Students departed the school bus under the supervision of school staff and several officers.

The lock down has been lifted and police continue to investigate.
