The lone person arrested after a robbery outside a Prince Albert business, has entered not guilty pleas and opted to face trial.

Brianne Carolyn Fineday, 29, is charged with robbery, possession of a prohibited weapon, and possession of the proceeds of crime.

The trial date has been scheduled for March 5, 2024.

The robbery last October, occurred in the drive-thru of the Cornerstone area business.

According to details provided at the time by police, the crime occurred around 7:30 a.m., when a person exited a vehicle they were in and approached the driver of a second vehicle.

The suspect stole the vehicle, which was located later that day outside the city.

Fortunately no physical injuries were reported.

A second male suspect was also described as being involved, but to date has not been found.

When officers located and arrested Fineday, she was also charged with possessing a controlled substance.

She was then released on bail the following week and just over a month later, was re-arrested and charged for a similar offence.

On Dec. 12, 2022, Fineday is accused of committing an assault with intent to steal a vehicle.

As a result of being on bail at the time, Fineday was also charged with a breach of her release conditions.
