The man accused of killing Alex Whitehead over a year ago had a court appearance Thursday on a charge of breaching his release conditions.
Richard Budd did not appear in person but will be back in Prince Albert Provincial Court on March 23 to deal with the matter.
His other charges that involve manslaughter, aggravated assault and break and enter have not yet been resolved.
Budd, age 21 when he was first charged in April 2022, is alleged to have killed Whitehead at a New Year’s Eve house party in the 200 block of 13th Street East.
