Man hospitalized after Tuesday shooting

A 46-year-old man was hospitalized after suffering a gunshot wound on Tuesday afternoon.

At 2 p.m., Prince Albert Police said officers responded to the Victoria Hospital after a man was being treated with non-life-threatening injuries after a gunshot wound. The shooting occurred at the 200 Block of 28th Street West.

Police have not made any arrests thus far, and do not believe the incident to be random.

Police are asking anyone who may have heard or seen anything suspicious in the area to contact Prince Albert Police Service at 306-953-4222 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
