Six people, including two youth, are facing charges of first-degree murder in connection with the death of 24-year-old Edgar Ratt of Bells Point.

Along with a 17-year-old girl and a boy of the same age, Cameron Ross, 23, Charmaine Charles, 21, Gracie Isbister, 20 and Katelyn Halkett, age 21 are all charged.

All six are also charged with one count of breaking and entering to commit the indictable offence of mischief.

Gracie Isbister, along with the youth have been charged with uttering threats to cause bodily harm.

The boy has a further charge of wearing a mask while intending to commit an indictable offence.

Ross, Charles, Isbister, Halkett and the female youth were arrested between July 24 and July 26 but the male youth has not been found. An arrest warrant has been issued but he cannot be identified because he is under the age of 18.

All charged individuals will appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on July 28.

The charges stem from an incident on July 21 when La Ronge RCMP was called to a house just after 3:00 am.

They found Ratt injured in the home on Jack Bell Place. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
