Another Victory for the Sharks

Prince Albert Sharks swim club stars shine at the “Long Course Lasers Swim Meet”

Congratulations to all swimmers competing in last week’s LC Lasers Swim Meet.

Eighteen swimmers from Prince Albert Sharks Swim club participated from May 6 to May 8, 2022 in Saskatoon. Half of them , Junior swimmers, competing for this first time ever.

There are fantastic results from the Sharks swimmers in the competition.

The swimmers achieved five !AA” time, more than 14 “A” time and countless new personal best times (Pb’s). The results show a massive development in the performance level of Shark swimmers competing against other top swimmers from different clubs and provinces.

Here are highlights from the swim meet:
Our golden fish, Myla.M, added another Five “AA” qualifying time in 50 Butterfly and 50 Freestyle for the Mansask provincial swimming championship which will be held in Saskatoon In July. Also she smashed the club record in 50-meter Butterfly for 13 year old, girls.

Mrs. Ali.D, achieved the requirements in the 400- metre free style and 100 – metre Butterfly in her pathway to be completed all the requirements for level 3, Para swimming.

Our Diamond fish achieved the national time standard and qualified to the para- swimming National championships which will be held in Montreal, QC in July. Also, she smashed her Pest personal time in 50 Breast stroke.

Clara. G : Achieved seven A time and personal best times in all of her events.

Brooklyn. D : Achieved one “A” time in 50- metre Free style and personal best times in all of
her events.

Aberdeen. R : Achieved four “A” time and personal best times in all of her events.

Patience.S : Achieved one “A” time in 50- metre Free style and personal best times in all of her
events.

Congratulations to all our swimmers that competed in the past weekend.

The club offers a variety of programs to meet all athletes”#potentials and ambitions not only on
the competitive level but also on the pre-competitive level.
